This tour really shows both sides of Auckland the modern city energy and the older heritage feel. The Parnell area was charming, and the explanations helped us appreciate what we were looking at, not just walk past it.
We did this over an afternoon and took our time photos, snacks, and plenty of stops. The walk is a good length, and the content stays interesting throughout. It’s a great ‘do it your way’ experience.
I expected the main landmarks, but what I enjoyed most were the little hidden spots I would never have found on my own. The tour felt thoughtfully put together, and the audio guide kept the pace enjoyable.
